Walk day has passed, but NAMI Greater Houston continues diligently working towards its goal! Online donations are still welcome.  Be a Goal Maker today and help serve more individuals and families affected by mental illness!

Greetings from NAMI Greater Houston!

Dear NAMI Family and Friends,

To date, your NAMI Greater Houston has raised over $270,000 towards its 2018 NAMIWalks goal of $325,000!

NAMIWalks funds 75% of our no-cost education classes, support group meetings, and community outreach programs for an entire year. As mental health challenges dominate the news cycles, NAMI Greater Houston is at the forefront of building a mental health community that is respectful and helpful to those with mental health challenges, families, friends, and neighbors.

NAMI Greater Houston has many supporters who conduct large fundraising campaigns, and we are grateful! However, it is thanks to many supporters like you who give just $10, $15, or $25 every year, who also help us offer services free of charge.

Like many, our organization is recovering from Hurricane Harvey. We have had to train new volunteers to meet the increased demand for mental health services. In light of recent times, it is more important than ever that we come together to ensure that there should never be a barrier to finding help, finding hope or finding NAMI.

Can your NAMI Greater Houston surpass $300,000? YES! If every walker gives or raises just $19.17 by July 6 (yes, that's it!), then we will surpass $300,000! If everyone gives $35.14, we will surpass our goal of $325,000! It really is that simple.

Be a NAMIWalks Goal Maker today. Please make a one-time donation of just $19.17 or any amount you feel comfortable in donating to our growing organization.

All that we do, we do for you!

Thank you,

Glenn D. Urbach, LMSW, Executive Director, NAMI Greater Houston
