Whether you live or work in Washington County or just think we're a bunch of fun people (you are correct), we would love to have you join our team. Meet new friends and reunite with old, make a difference, and get a t-shirt.
Due to Covid-19, this year's NAMIWalks is virtual. We are beginning to plan a safe, socially distanced walk in Stillwater around the new bridge. We will send out updates to team members for those interested in participating in this way, but you could register for the team and nap for mental health! Maybe you'll garden the day-of or meditate or play fetch with your dog! This event can be anything you'd like it to be--we just want to continue to get the word out on NAMI Washington County's resources for those who need them and raise much-needed funds, and connect with others when feelings of isolation run rampant.
If you don't want to register, you can donate to someone on our team roster. Donations on this page are fast, secure and easy.
Every donation amount makes a difference, for example, just $20 allows one family member attendee to attend the 12-week Family to Family* course and make meaningful change in their life. *Family to Family is an educational course that's free of charge for attendees that helps families gain a greater understanding of mental illness, discuss resources, build communication skills, reduce stress, and find support.
