Thank you for walking with us!

Since December of 2018...

You have joined us on our 2019 NAMIWalks Maryland journey.  As part of the largest fundraising and public awareness event in the country, NAMIWalks is how we raise funds and spread awareness to change the world, right here in Maryland. Since its inception in 1979, NAMI's group of committed citizens have changed hearts and saved lives. Locally, our volunteers and donors have made it possible for us to provide support, education, and advocacy to community members affected by mental illness.

Thanks to your efforts, NAMIWalks Maryland raised:

That is $39,456 over last year's total, $16,890 over our original goal, and only $8,110 from our stretch goal.  Your dedication to mental health awareness is what made our Walk such a huge success and we couldn't have done it without you.

NAMIWalks is about our community rallying together to raise awareness and eliminate stigma. It gives people a chance to share their stories in a productive, safe way, and it gives us all a chance to come together and walk for a cause we believe in.  NAMIWalks is our community's opportunity to honor loved ones facing mental health challenges. It's about celebration, recovery, and for remembering those we've lost.

Thank you for taking part and helping us raise awareness for mental health!
