Welcome!

Every year over 5,000 people come together to celebrate recovery, promote awareness, and fight discrimination, to help serve thousands of New Yorkers impacted by mental illness each year. The funds raised at the event allow NAMI-NYC to provide free support, education, and outreach programs throughout New York City

This year’s 13th annual 5K walk and run are taking place on Saturday, May 11th and kicks off at South Street Seaport.
For those wanting to do the 5K run, the registration fee is $45 and will go along East River Park. The run will end with enough time for you to participate in the walk as well!

Need help fundraising? It's all about getting personal!

1. When you ask for a donation, tell why NAMI-NYC and mental health are important to you.
2. Set a goal to recruit 10 new donors in the first week of your campaign! Send a text to everyone in your contact list. Now is the time to start engaging people on this journey you’re embarking on.
3. Post about your NAMIWalks NYC Page on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and ask your network to support you with a donation. Always include the link to your fundraising page with each post.
