As the local affiliate for Baltimore City and Baltimore County, we are dedicated to improving the lives of the 1 in 5 individuals and their families living with a mental health condition. In Baltimore, 284,000 people are living with a mental health condition – that’s the equivalent of 4 Ravens Stadiums! Yet, many people experience an 11 year delay before seeking treatment due to stigma.
At a time when 1 in 3 young adults are experiencing anxiety or depression, we’re committed to creating a culture that embraces and supports mental health by providing quality peer-based support, education, and advocacy programs.
