Where do I park?

There is no designated parking. Please plan accordingly. Street parking is available all around Scissortail Park and downtown OKC. There is one free parking lot located at SW 15th Street and Harvey Ave., near the Walk Start Line. When planning your arrival, please allow plenty of time to find parking and walk to the Start Line area. Ride-sharing/carpooling is encouraged if that's an option for you.

When should I arrive and what should I do when I get there?

On-site registration opens at 8AM. If you haven't already registered online, please arrive at 8AM to register in person at the Registration Table. If you have already registered online and are with a team, check with your team captain about where you want to meet as a group. Team Captains can check in all pre-registered members of their team at once - no need for all team members to visit the check-in table. If you are walking as an individual and already registered online, please check yourself in at the check-in table. After check-in and/or registration is complete please enjoy the festivities! Visit our resource vendors and sponsor tables, take a photo at our photo booth, play yard games, get your face painted, grab a treat from the food trucks - Junction Coffee and Hangry Halo Mini Donut Co, listen to the music, connect with your team, or mingle and meet new people. Opening Ceremony will begin at 9:30AM and will end with a quick warm-up of Zumba, then together we will step forward towards Mental Health for All as we start our walk route at approximately 10AM.

How do I get my NAMIWalks t-shirt?

If you fundraised $100, you are eligible for a NAMIWalks t-shirt. At check-in, you will receive instructions on how and where to pick  up your t-shirt.

Why I Walk stickers

You will find Why I Walk stickers at Registration, Check-in, the "About NAMI Oklahoma" information table, and at the NAMIWalks t-shirt table. Write in why you participate in NAMIWalks and wear it proudly.

Where are the bathrooms?

Bathrooms are located at the Start Line and near the Sports Courts about half a mile into the course route.

Will there be activities for the kids?

Yes! Children's Behavioral Health Coalition is our 2024 Kid's Area Sponsor. Look for the Kid's Area Tent located in the center grassy area near the start line. There will be face painting, yard games, bubbles, music, coloring activities, and lots of kid-focused mental health resources! Bring the whole family to the Walk - it's going to be a fun and very family-friendly event!

Can I bring my dog?

Friendly, leashed pets are welcome.
