Team Captain Hope is Healing NAMIWalks Franklin County

Welcome to my personal NAMIWalks page. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me. NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans impacted by mental illness.

This non-competative 5k event has live music, a silent auction, local food and community vendors, children's entertainment, and fun for the whole family - but NAMIWalks is so much more than a 'walk in the park'. It's a day where our community can come together to combat the stigma of mental illness, to celebrate hope, and to support the operations of NAMI Franklin County.

Your contributions to my NAMIWalks campaign allow NAMI Franklin County to keep their services free, and their doors open to all. Together, we can change minds, one 'step' at a time.

This will be my sixth year participating. I will be walking in memory of my friend Ian Hoffmann who died by suicide 3 years ago over Memorial Day weekend and for everyone that lives with a mental health condition.

Donating to me through this page is easy, fast and secure. Your donation will make a difference in the lives of the 43.8 million adults who experience mental illness in a given year.

 Thank you for your support.
