Welcome to my personal NAMIWalks page. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me. NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans impacted by mental illness.

I volunteer for NAMI Acadiana because my younger brother Kenneth has lived with a mental illness since he was young teenager - he is now 41 yrs old. Hard life.  I also choose to volunteer for NAMI to help ensure that hope and help are provided to other individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMIWalks is the lifesource of NAMI Acadiana so to speak - it enables them to provide free essential programs and services to anyone. Being a public event, it brings mental illness into the conversation of health and this awareness helps to reduce the stigma surrounding it.

That's why I'd like you to join our team and/or donate to help NAMI continue it's misson.
Donating to me through this page is easy, fast and secure. You get an immediate receipt and I get immediate notice. If you'd rather send a check, you can mail it (made out to NAMI) to our team captain, my mother, at 123 Froeba Dr. Carencro, LA 70520

Your donation will make a difference in the lives of the 43.8 million adults who experience mental illness in a given year.

Thank you for your support.
