5K Your Way event!

Our NAMIWalks Mobile is still ON

Walk YOUR WAY Saturday, April 4, 2020

Due to COVID-19 risks and because Mobile County has canceled all public events for now, our 2020 NAMI Walk will become Virtual.

Virtual events happen all the time and allow you to join the fun without the crowds. You simply run/walk/bike/swim/crawl/rock in your favorite rocking chair/ride a treadmill the distance by yourself or with your spouse, partner, friends, roommate, strangers or family in a method that meets all the agencies recommendations or mandates and share your experience.

How to participate:

Choose YOUR WAY, put on your team or NAMIWalks T-shirt.  Take a high-five picture and post using #NAMICares on all your social media outlets.  Post pictures at our NAMIWalks Mobile 2020 Facebook page

Share who you were with (or whom you wish you could be with), your method, how you stayed SAFE and HOW YOU HAD FUN!!

You will be supporting our cause to help raise awareness about mental illnesses and those in our community affected by them.  With your help this will be a fun and interactive online event but will also keep us safe through SOCIAL DISTANCING.....NOT SOCIAL ISOLATION!  Socialize and communicate via the internet!

Prizes will be awarded for several categories so monitor our NAMIWalks Mobile 2020 Facebook page for details.

Our Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/NAMIWalksMobile2020/  post your pictures here
