Why WE Walk?

As NAMIWalks NYS celebrates our 3rd anniversary, we invite you to take part in NAMI’s largest and most successful mental health awareness and fundraising event in the country.

When you walk with NAMI, you join the movement to raise awareness of mental illness and raise funds for our mission to help individuals and families right here in our region.
In the last year alone, NAMI NYS has provided Hope and Help to over 185,000 individuals and families through our NAMI Signature programs,  NAMI support group,  Ending the Silence, a mental health literacy program for students, Crisis Intervention Training for law enforcement, table events, and social media.

NAMI NYS CHANGES ATTITUDES AND SAVES LIVES!

This year, we will celebrate Recovery and raise awareness for those living with mental illness with a fun-filled day of family friendly activities, live music, and a wellness fair:

Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at Jennings Landing, 1 Quay Street Albany NY.

Register today and join us as we improve lives and our communities one step at a time.
