10:30-Noon: Last chance to register at www.namiwalks.org/danecounty or fill out paper form on site.  No cost to register but fundraising is encouraged.  There will be kids games, refreshments and entertainment.

Noon: the fun 5k Walk begins. Walkers can walk shorter distances. Participants are encourage to make colorful signs to carry along the Walk, teams are encouraged to design team t-shirts.

1:00pm-2:30pm more kids games, refreshments and entertainment.

Carpools or biking are encouraged! There will be parking volunteers to direct cars to various parking lots and street parking around Olin Park.  If you need handicapped parking they will direct you to those spots near the park shelter (the big white barn) 
 
Any registered walker who raised $100 or more is eligible to earn a NAMIWalks t-shirt.  We do occasionally run out of certain sizes so it's best to come get yours on Walk Day.  After the Walk they will be available for pick up at the NAMI Dane County Office, 818 W. Badger Road Suite 104, Madison, WI 53705
 
Additional clothing/prizes: any walker who raised $250 or more by Nov 6 is eligible to earn an additional gift.  You can see the details by clicking on "Raise Funds, Earn a Gift" at the top of any namiwalks.org webpage.  Emails will be sent out mid-November explaining how to redeem your gift, and it will be mailed to you.

Dogs/Checks/Cash:

Dogs are now allowed at Olin Park! They need to be on a leash, and are not allowed inside the park shelter

Weather, Water Bottles Contact info:

Please bring your own water bottle if you can, as we are trying to cut down on the use of disposables

This is a rain or shine event!  If it rains bring an umbrella!  If it storms we will try to wait it out inside the park shelter and our cars until it clears. In case of severe weather we will reschedule a drive through event for people to turn in money and pick up t-shirts.
