NAMI MAUI

Aloha everyone,

My name is Kawehi Romero.  I am the team captain for "NAMI Maui".  I am also a resident of Maui supporting the mental health of people who were affected by the Lahaina fires.   Lahaina holds a big place in my heart. I occasionally went to the harbor to go on the Expeditions Ferry to Lana'i to visit family. 

I have my own story with mental health struggles throughout the years. I know what it's like and can relate to people with depression and anxiety. I know life gets hard but there is hope.  

We are also having our own NAMIWalks on Maui to bring support and awareness to our community.  Our Maui Walk would give us a chance to come together as a community on walk day. If you cannot walk with us, please consider supporting NAMI with a donation. All funds donated on this page will support our NAMI affiliate on Maui.
