Find A Walk

All together now for NAMI Placer County! We are an all-volunteer chapter devoted to the the core principles of bringing education, advocacy and support to persons dealing with mental health struggles and to their families and friends.

So what is the NAMI-Walk? There’s strength in numbers, right? NAMI affiliates throughout the region will come together on Saturday, May 6th to walk together through William Land Park to both raise $$ and also awareness of the importance of NAMI.  There are three ways to join us and show your support for our Placer chapter.

1) Walk with us on May 6th. Join our NAMI Placer County team. The links are above. When you walk with us you agree to raise $$ (you can sponsor yourself and/or ask friends to support you as well, there's no minimum. Let family and friends know you are on the team roster and ask them to make a contribution through this page.  There is also an easy link to make a facebook page. Why walk with us?  It is way more than just the $$ raised; it is an amazing experience to be surrounded by hundreds of people who UNDERSTAND!!

2) Busy that day? Make a contribution via our page here, or on the roster page of anyone you know.  Let your friends and family know that you support us. Maybe they will as well:) Using this link is easy, fast and secure.

3) Make your own team and list Placer County as your affiliate.  Perhaps you want to form a team from your own family in support of your loved one, or your co-workers want to support the work of NAMI.

Decide the best way to support our work and take action today.  Our NAMI Placer County affiliate thanks you!
