Find A Walk

It’s a new day for mental health, and we’re going to seize it together — by participating in NAMIWalks Your Way 2022.  JOIN US!

We all care about the mental health and well-being of ourselves, our friends, our family members, and our kids.  Walk with us on May 14th or donate to help promote public awareness of mental health and reduce stigma, raise funds for NAMI’s mission of advocacy, education and support, and build community and let people know they are not alone

The words mental health should be scary, or whispered, or connote any negative image.  Mental Health IS our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It helps determine how we handle stress, related to others, and make choices. It is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. And without it, we cannot thrive or live the life we want to live.

When we know that 1 in 5 kids experience a mental health disorder each year, that 50% of all lifetime mental health illnesses begin by age 14 -- 75% by age 24-- and that 20% of kids live with a mental health condition, we need to do something about it.

When we know there is a 41 percent increase in anxiety and depression across all age groups, and an increase in suicidal ideation among our young people, we need to do something about it.  Yes, every one of us needs to talk about it, learn more about it, and do something about it.

Ready to begin? Join our team and let's WALK TOGETHER to support NAMI and mental health!
