Mental Health for All — and Always. NAMI Yolo County is pleased to participate in NAMIWalks Your Way on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
NAMI Yolo County provides advocacy, support, education, and public awareness so that all individuals and families who are affected by mental illness can build better lives. Since NAMI's beginning in 1979, The Yolo County California chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is a grass roots, self-help, support and advocacy non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with psychiatric disorders, which include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, clinical depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and severe emotional disorders in children.
We hope you will join us for NAMIWalks Your Way! There are many ways to participate: You can donate to a team, create a team for NAMI Yolo County, or join an already existing team like this one! The NAMI Yolo County team was created by staff at NAMI Yolo County and we plan to do 20 minutes of any exercise or activity on the day of the Walk! Anyone should feel free to join our team!
On May 22, you can watch inspirational, engaging livestreams or join in a mental health conversation with other like-minded crusaders.
Take photos and videos and share your activity on favorite social media with the link to your walk fundraising page and hashtags #NAMIWalksNorCal and #NotAlone.
Join us as we Walk, run, skip, bake, or whatever suits you, to make a difference in the lives of those living with Mental Health conditions.
