NAMIWalks is going to be a little different this year!
Social distancing is important, and we won’t let COVID19 stop us!
Our collective mental health needs are at their greatest, and NAMI’s programs and advocacy are needed more than ever.
The First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck has been a part of the Mercer County Community for over 200 years. In other years, we have joined together to walk with members of other faith communities to support NAMI Mercer.
NAMIWalks Your Way Mercer County: A Virtual Event on May 30 will be joined by NAMIWalks all across the country, and it means just what it sounds like - participants get to make NAMIWalks their own. You can walk anywhere - through your neighborhood, your yard, on a treadmill, a trail or even in your house! You can even do something else meaningful and fun to celebrate our virtual walk day!
Raising awareness and funds for the Mercer County affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is a great way to help our neighbors and demonstrate compassion for all those affected by mental illness. We hope you will join Compassion for ALL Our Neighbors!
Take photos and videos and share your activity with the link to our walk fundraising page and the hashtags: #NAMIMercer, #CompassionForALL #NAMIWalksMercer, #NotAlone #MentalHealthForAll and #StrongerTogether. Together we can make May 30 a day to remember - Mental Health for All: A National Day of Hope.
Please make a donation and spread the word! Thank you for visiting our team page.
Together, we are moving closer to a world where all people affected by mental illness live healthy, fulfilling lives supported by a community that cares. Mental Health for All!
