It’s a new day for mental health, and we are going to seize it — by participating in NAMIWalks 2022! This event raises funds for NAMI’s impactful programs that spread awareness, fight stigma, and build mental wellness for all.

 

Lanesboro: Trail of Hope Walk.

 

What can you do?


WALK Join us at the Lanesboro: Trail of Hope event September 17th in Gateway Park. Free registration in advance online and in person the day of at the event.


Event Activities:

Live Music featuring local favorite Sarah Peterson

Motivational speakers will welcome and kick off the event.


Rock painting will be available before and after the event for a creative outlet to write inspirational messages for yourself or to pass on to others.


Miss Minnesota will be at the event cheering on participants and offering a hula hooping activity for all ages.


Yoga by Lacey Hamann will be offered as a stop along the trail giving participants an opportunity to stretch and take a deep breath.


Photo Booth opportunity to remember the event and post online.


Various organizations and nonprofit tables with resources and opportunities.


Snack variety donated by Duschee Hills Dairy and IGA

Walk on the trail under the Highway 8 Bridge and 
Meet at Gateway Park  https://goo.gl/maps/ZD6iWp48Wn3dfHPt6
(under the Coffee Street Walking Bridge), near the Softball Field.

Light snacks served. Bring sunscreen and bug spray.

Schedule:

12:00 pm Registration at Gateway Park - all walkers are required to sign in

1:00 - 1:20 pm  Welcome Kick off Program

1:30 - 2:30 pm WALK and Trail Activities including Yoga

2:30 pm  Celebration at Gateway Park: Music by Sarah Peterson, Yard Games for all ages, snacks served.
