Thank you so much for registering for NAMIWalks Michigan (Detroit/Belle Isle) on Sept. 28th at Belle Isle Park. There is still time for you to help us reach our goal! We will accept donations for 60 days after Walk Day.  We were thrilled to have so many of you show up on Walk Day and we are asking for your help to reach our fundraising goal by November 28th. Will you help us reach our goal by continuing to ask for donations from family & friends or by making a self-donation to support your local NAMI chapter?

What is NAMIWalks Michigan?

NAMIWalks is a FREE 5k walk gathering thousands of advocates to raise awareness around mental health, end stigma and fundraise for crucial mental health services. This annual walk features beautiful scenery along the Detroit River, DJ/music, refreshments, prize giveaways, activities from our sponsors and vendors, and more! It’s easy to walk--just register on this site as an individual, team captain, or with a team. Teams can wear unique t-shirts and bring custom signs to show their team pride. What are NAMI Affiliates? How can I make a donation to support them?

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families. Throughout Michigan, there are a number of local NAMI affiliates that can provide information and connections to mental health resources right in your local area. In addition, many of these NAMI Michigan affiliates maintain their own web site, with calendars of activities and events and other helpful information. You can directly support your local NAMI Detroit, NAMI Metro, NAMI Livingston, NAMI Washtenaw, NAMI Shiawassee, NAMI Genesee Co., NAMI Midland, or NAMI Lansing affiliates by making a NAMIWalks donation to the affiliate of your choice here.
