As NAMIWalks celebrates its 15th anniversary, we invite you to take part in NAMI’s largest and most successful mental health awareness and fundraising event in the country.

When you walk with NAMI, you join the movement to raise awareness of mental illness and raise funds for our mission to help individuals and families right here in our region.

Register today and join us as we improve lives and our communities one step at a time.

NAMIWalks provides NAMI Lexington’s primary source of discretionary funds.  Discretionary funds make the wheels go around!  Thanks to your support, NAMI Lexington is a front-runner in advocacy, family education, consumer program development and peer-empowerment, collaboration, inclusiveness, diversity, cultural competence, and scope of services.

NAMI Lexington leverages your investment in NAMIWalks by developing and implementing innovative programs that are sustainable and replicable.  Most importantly - individuals, family members / caregivers, and community stakeholders will benefit from your support of NAMIWalks for years to come.  Please take a moment to review just a sampling of the programs and services your investment makes possible.

NAMI Lexington also offers affordable staff and employee training programs such as Mental Health First Aid.  The Mental Health First Aid program is an interactive 8 hour educational program.  It can be conducted in one full day or two half-day events.  Mental Health First Aid certification must be renewed every three years, and introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact and overviews common treatments.
