Find A Walk

All about Registration

Bypass filling out the paper registration form by registering online. You will create a webpage, which you can personalize with your story, picture. and videos. Your family and friends can visit your page and make a donation on your behalf. Your webpage will also track your progress as you reach your goal. Note: For past walkers, your NAMI account credentials will not work on this new website. Please register to create a new username and password. Should you want to register offline, contact your local Walk Manager listed on each event’s home page for more information.

You may register as an individual, join a team or create a team through the registration process. If the team you are joining is not listed, try searching for just a few letters or contact the Team Captain.

You will receive a confirmation email after your registration is complete. Then you will be able to login with your username and password at any time.

Quick Facts:

Registration is free but we do encourage fundraising!

The last day to register online is the day of the walk.

Your username is your email address.

We strongly encourage each walk participant to register themselves so they may verify all their information is entered correctly, as well as agree to the Waiver. There is no age restriction for walking; however, NAMI requires website users to be at least 13 years of age. Children under the age of 13 may register using a paper form.

Dogs are welcome at most NAMIWalks—some even wear team T-shirts! However, it is best to contact the local Walk Manager to be sure the location where the walk is being held allows pets. Please visit your event’s homepage for your local Walk Manager’s contact information.

A note about privacy:

NAMIWalks web pages are viewable to the general public, so your name will appear online and will be accessible through web search engines such as Google. If you have concerns about your name appearing on a NAMIWalks page, please register for the Walk using the paper brochure available from the event host. Please contact the local Walk Manager for more information. NAMI does not share any of your personal information with any third-party. Nor do we send e-mails other than e-mails related to your participation in NAMIWalks including but not limited to the following: confirmation e-mails when you register, notification e-mails when an online donation is made on your behalf, updates from your team captain or local Walk coordinator, and other NAMIWalks-related announcements.

Troubleshooting:

I forgot my username and password: Visit the NAMIWalks event page. Under the login area, click on Forgot Password. You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your information.

2. I want to be the Team Captain:

Creating a Team automatically denotes you as Team Captain.

3. I registered for the Walk, but I am not able to sign-in.

Please be sure you completed the registration process completely and received a confirmation email. Be sure you are entering your username and password information correctly. Click Forgot my Password for more assistance.

4. I registered but can no longer attend. How can I cancel my registration?

You cannot cancel your own registration. Please contact your local Walk Manager for assistance.

Alternatively, you can be a Virtual Walker and still fundraise! Virtual Walkers raise awareness and funds for our crucial programs and services just like a regular walker. However, they don’t attend the actual Walk Day. instead, Virtual Walkers celebrate their accomplishments by doing something else they enjoy! Even if you cannot attend on Walk Day, you can do a 5K at any time and raise funds for NAMI.
