Where is NAMIWalks Mercer County?

NAMIWalks Mercer County is at Educational Testing Service, 660 Rosedale Road in Princeton.  Follow the signs that say “NAMIWalks Mercer County” or “NAMI Mercer Walk” to Conant Hall.

When is the event?

Sunday May 5th, with festivities beginning at 11:30, Registration Opens at 12:00 pm and the Walk begins at 1:00 pm!

Where should I park?

See the Walk Route Map.  Walkers who plan to stay for the Walk are invited to park in the Conant Hall Lots, Parking Signs will point you in the right direction.  Attendees who plan to leave after the Walk begins MUST park in Langraff Hall’s lot.  Parking in the Conant Circle is strictly prohibited, and you will be asked to move your car.

When should I arrive?

Walkers Should plan to arrive between 11:30 am and 12 pm. Access to Conant Hall is closed at 12:45 pm to ensure Walker safety.  Arrive early so you have enough time to partake in the fun!

Will there be food?

Bottled Water will be available throughout the day. We will offer light refreshments, including yogurt, assorted fruit, cheese& cracker packs, juice boxes and chips.  

Lunch is no longer served at NAMIWalks Mercer County, but we invite you to bring a picnic lunch if you choose.  

Where are the restrooms?

Rest facilities are inside Conant Hall and you must enter through the marked door by Conant Circle.  There are no porta-johns this year.


How do I check in or register?

ALL ATTENDEES MUST REGISTER AND SIGN A LIABILITY WAIVER; WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION TO SAVE TIME ON WALK DAY. Alternatively, the Walker Brochure may be filled out and turned in by your team captain or mailed to the office ahead of the Walk.


REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 12 PM at the OUTDOOR Registration Tent – this area is for TEAM CAPTAINS and Walkers NOT on Teams.

  1. TEAM CAPTAINS are responsible for turning in ALL donations from their walkers using the Team Captain Envelope. If all fundraising was done online, the registration table will have information from May 4th.  You will receive tickets for each team member that has earned a shirt;

  2. Individual Walkers, not on teams, should turn in all donations in the Individual Walker Envelope; anyone who has earned a shirt will receive a ticket for t-shirt at this time

  3. Alternatively, you may check in and turn in registrations and money on BANK DAYS at the NAMI Mercer Office on April 17th or May 1st from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  You may pick up t-shirt tickets during Bank Days. You must let us know you are coming to a Bank Day by rsvping at walk@namimercer

How do I locate my team on Walk Day?

NAMIWalks staff or volunteers  cannot help you find your team.  Talk to your Team Captain and designate a meeting spot – Conant Circle or the Flag pole are popular choices.  You may bring your own signs and banners.  We encourage you to use your cell phones to communicate. 

TEAM NUMBER FLAGS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, so have a plan ahead of time!


How long is the Walk?

The Walk is a 5k (3 miles) and consists of three one mile loops.  You do not need to finish the Walk.  You can opt to not walk at all!


Are strollers, wheelchairs or dogs allowed at NAMIWalks Mercer County?

Yes! The Walk is open to all ages and abilities! The indoor facilities are accessible. 

Pets are good for our mental health and we love our furry visitors! Your dog must be leashed at all times; it is your responsibility to clean up after your pup.  Please bring your own waste bags to clean up after your dog.


What is there to do?

  • Visit the Wellness Fair

  • Listen to the music of DJ John Rossi and a few live performances!

  • Sign the Stigma-Free Pledge Banner and add to the “Why I Walk” Banner

  • Get your “Beads of Hope”

  • Visit the Reiki Healers for a mini-session!

  • Visit MARCO, the mental health robot

  • Get a NAMIWalks Tattoo

  • Get your Team Photo taken or pose with Boomer and NAMIMan!

  • More activities are being planned!


Ready to Walk? 

Gold’s Gym, East Windsor is leading our warm ups and Myesha Price will be singing an original song.  The stage is located next to the Start Line this year!  Star Walkers will receive their pins on the stage!
