Honorary Chair, Jeff Bell
Author and former KCBS News Anchor
Jeff Bell is an author, speaker, and award-winning journalist. His two books, "Rewind, Replay, Repeat" and "When in Doubt, Make Belief," have established Jeff as a leading voice for adversity-driven advocacy, mental health awareness, and "Greater Good" (purpose- and service-based) motivation.
Jeff served for eight years as a national spokesperson and board member for the International OCD Foundation and lends his support to numerous mental health organizations. In 2011, he cofounded the nonprofit A2A Alliance, aiming to foster the power of turning adversity into advocacy.
In late 2023, Jeff was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and began a new adversity-to-advocacy journey he never saw coming. He has recently begun sharing his PD story and now serves as a member of the Parkinson's Foundation's California Advisory Board.
Jeff is a 30-year veteran of broadcast news and retired in 2022 as co-anchor of the KCBS Afternoon News, two-time winner of the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast in America.
